Article-"WOMEN EMPOWERMENT"

"Life is biggest examination of all but that doesn't mean we are to put someone's life at examination...."
 and any one person or group be subjected to criticism and tyranny.
women empowerment is one of the most discussed topic of the contemporary world.These days magazines and newspapers abound us with numerous stories of women killed for the sake of dowry or parents kill their girl child which has yet not taken birth in this galoot (selfish) world.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Surprisingly, even in 21st century, women is considered to be household worker and child producing machine… Especially in INDIA a famous saying prevails i.e.”NO GIRL’s PLEASE, WE’RE INDIANS!!!”
“WHAT QUEER NOTIONS???”!!!
 queer means- strange and notions means ideas.
We Indians always talk of Indira Gandhi, Kalpana Chawla, Aishwarya Rai, Pratibha Patil but let us all question ourself that how much heed (attention) we pay to girls born at our homes? What is their importance in our lives? Now hold on for a second , PAUSE and THINK!!! Who is our mother, sister, daughter, wife- she is a WOMEN. Even GURU NANAK DEV G ( 1st sikh guru) quoted in gurbani-
“ So kyun manda akhiyea jit jame rajan”
It means why to curse or ill- treat a women who has given birth to not only great emporers and warriors, but to all of us and have shown us the pulchritudinous (beautiful) world….
Now moving on to my sisters-girls and women. These days we get to see number of evils prevailing against women –rape, dowry system, female foeticide and OUR EXISTENCE IS IN DANGER !! But how surprisingly strange to see that even educated women remain silent and keep on just crying on their baleful stories. Silence means acceptance. Women should give it back to their domineers. No one is gonna speak for them until they themselves don’t take their stand.
Society has made a meaning of women-
*      W- Worse
*      O-Omen
*      M-Maid
*      E- Easy to use
*      N-Non-sense
But they have forgotten that it Actually means:-
*      W-Wonderful
*      O-Only reason for our existence
*      M-Mazel tov and salute to their sacrifices
 Or
 no less than men
*      E-Educated essence of life
*      N- Not gonna bear more
We all(the girls) need to show it to our society that it is not just in our talks.
As it is said that-“Miseries may hold on for a night but joy will follow in the morning with new sunshine of hope and goodness.” So, we need to understand that women are not only hub of family rather they are hub of nation, hub of world. We need to understand their importance.
And being civilized we need to come together and empower women and fight for their rights. So let us be louder and promote-
“WOMEN   EMPOWERMENT …………….”
Think!! and act!! wiser for a better future of a girl at your home...... !!
NO GIRLS, PLEASE, WE’RE INDIAN
Talking of back –the past in the 1980’s, it was a suspicion. In the 1990’s, it was a near iwis (certainity). In 2001, it became indisputable fact: INDIAis a nation that likes to ensure that girls are never born.
We are facing a national emergency, an epidemic that will have a far-reaching social consequences. Child sex ratio is falling
alarmingly. Taking a glance at child sex ratio of various states in India examplary – in PUNJAB there are 826 girls with respect to every 1000 boys and this ratio is far less and alarming in the state of HARYANA and Rajasthan whereas in southern India , let us talk of Kerela- this state has near about 1051 girls for every 1000 boys. Well this ratio in Kerela is quite applaudable and needs to receive kudos(a kind of congratulations or appreciation) for this fact from all the Indians. In 1991, not a single district in India had been recorded with less than 800 child sex ratio. Whereas in 2001, 15 districts were found with child sex ratio low than 800.
IS THIS EMPOWERMENT????
Talking of another data, in 1991- 21 districts had child sex ratio over 1000 , moving on to in 2001, only 5 districts were found to fall in this category.
Jerky!!! To hear that when women’s groups exposed the use of technology, devised to detect genetic abnormalities to determine the sex of the child, for the very first time, only few people were alarmed. And guess what?? The media was virtually not responsive at all. The trouble seemed restricted to the metros. But in the contemporary world, it has engulfed the nation on a whole…
Data demystifies that private as well as government facilities are used for sex detection and sex selective abortions despite the law that prohibits it. Reports reveal that apart from abortions if a girl child is born she is left st the doorstep of temples, hospitals or any public place. A survey reveals that even educated women can resort to as many as 7 abortions to ensure that she gives birth to a boy child..
Poor implementation of law wont fetch anything neither manifesto by governments is gonna be of any use. Rather MODIFICATIONS IN THINKING PROCESSS and old CULTURAL ACTIVITIES is required to save numerous lives….
SAVE ONE GIRL!
SAVE ONE HOME , SHE IS GONNA BE PART OF!

SAVE your NATION and ITS PROGRESS!!
